My late father Harry Shelby was the designer and manufacturer behind Coquette NY Handbags, an upscale line of handcrafted pocketbooks that flourished during the 1950s and 1960s.
After a fortuitous typo in eBay's search engine led me to one of my father's purses, I decided that I would attempt to recover as varied a catalog as I could.
This is the catalog so far. I will try to include my mother's reactions and memories along the way.

By the way, I was surfing the search engines for purse and handbag related websites using the keyword belt purse seat and found your awesome page with the title Brown leather faux-croc purse. I am looking for ideas on how to improve my own site using different keywords and was amazed how easy it was to find your site using the keyword belt purse seat.
