My late father Harry Shelby was the designer and manufacturer behind Coquette NY Handbags, an upscale line of handcrafted pocketbooks that flourished during the 1950s and 1960s.
After a fortuitous typo in eBay's search engine led me to one of my father's purses, I decided that I would attempt to recover as varied a catalog as I could.
This is the catalog so far. I will try to include my mother's reactions and memories along the way.
